We went to Pouso Alegre, in Minas Gerais, to show how the snack chips are made. You may not believe it, but the snack is basically made from just one ingredient: corn!

The food is used in two different textures, cornmeal, which is very fine, and gritz, which is a little thicker, reminiscent of beach sand.

The extruder is the machine responsible for making the snacks out of the mixture of corn and water and gaining the different formats we know, such as shells and rings, for example.

How about following the step-by-step process of making snacks? Let's go!
