Aker brygge is known for its several restaurants along the promenade, with plenty of opportunities for wining and dining. If you want to add something new to your wardrobe, there are plenty of fashion shops in the cozy shopping alleys just around the corner.

A bridge connects Aker brygge to Tjuvholmen ('the thief islet'). Tjuvholmen is not only one of Oslo’s newest quarters, but it is also known for its rich, architectural diversity and the many art installations in between the buildings.
