At Battery Day, Elon Musk said that Tesla had a secret sauce that they weren't going to talk about. For me, part of Tesla's Secret Sauce is the Maxwell Dry Battery Electrode (aka DBE). DBE results in higher energy density, higher power density, better cohesion and adhesion (electrode durability), and reduced heat generation.
