The evolution of human warfare from the Deluge of 1648 to the War of the Grand Alliance in 1697. As human civilization shifted towards the 18th century, firearms were replacing traditional weapons in every genre, except for the winged hussars, who made a defining calvary charge at Vienna, saving East Europe from Ottoman invasion. The Dutch, being the dominant force at sea now being challenged by Great Britain and France, the two rising European powers. Nationalism was now on the rise with new emerging nation state now adding more fuel to the nature of warfare.
