Topic of Discussion: Life really is a process and fixed thinking is only holding us back from exploring this existence as fully as we could. Think of it like going to the dance but only sitting in your chair and watching or commenting on the goings on, espousing one's pre-conceived ideas about the dance or the people dancing, etc., without really just going into the experience in an open way and seeing what comes of it for yourself. This sort of exercise may be best for intuitives, but sensors can/should do this too (see Myers Briggs / Jung Personality Types info for more details on intuitives and sensors):

A large component of fixed thinking is belief. Belief only requires an attachment or fixed allegiance for it to be a belief. Many beliefs are arrived at irrationally in some way, so it is nearly impossible to reason our way out of a belief that was never attained by rationality in the first place. Also, it should be said that our personal knowing of THE ALL or The Creator is not the equivalent of believe since there should be no compulsion or urge to recruit. Gnosis or knowing of The Creator involves a certain holistic relationship between our thinking and feeling, to which our intellectual capacities are the servant to the intuition. Rationally speaking it is true that our intellectual capacity can only take us so far before the barrier is crossed and our very being and essence comes into contact with that unspeakable infinite reality to which we are all at one with.
