It has become my annual end-of-year tradition to ride into New York, visit Crown Point, cross the beautiful bridge over lake champlain and back into Vermont. Crown Point was my destination back in 2004 when I drove from FL to VT to work in Burlington, VT. It was stunning then, it's stunning now. But this time, I rode RT 9N along the west side of Lake George. Wow! It was an easy escape from New York, but difficult to leave. I wanted to keep exploring. Oh well, this was the ride. And it was amazing.
