The 2024 Hongqi H9 will be launched in Russia with a two-tone body and will compete with the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

At the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, the 2024 Hongqi H9 was officially launched with a price range of 329,800-539,800 yuan ($45,715-$74.82). At the same time, Russian media reported that the new Hongqi H9 will also be available in Russia and local dealers have started accepting orders.

The new Hongqi H9 car exhibited at this Beijing Auto Show is a mid-term facelift model. The appearance has not changed much, but the overall appearance is more refined and majestic, especially the luxury sedan with a two-tone body.

It retains the design of the flat waterfall grille and split headlights. However, the internal structure of the grille is different and the internal structure of the upper daytime running lights is also slightly different. It now looks like the Hongqi H5 sedan. The shape of the daytime running lights has been improved and the main headlights have been enlarged. The new car also comes with a new bumper.

There is also a "sporty" version of the H9: This version of the H9 has a different style grille, black inserts and black glass trim instead of chrome on the front bumper. The body dimensions are roughly the same: length 5137 mm, width 1904 mm, height 1498 mm and wheelbase 3060 mm. Only the body height increased by 5 mm, other dimensions remained unchanged. The sedan comes with 19 or 20 inch wheels.

Its interior has also been updated; a new dashboard, a new LCD instrument cluster and multimedia display were combined, and the old central control display was replaced with a suspended design. There is also a set of physical buttons below the central control screen for climate control.

The top version has a four-seat layout with a large armrest box between the rear seats, equipped with a touchscreen, wireless charging pad and optional folding table.

The standard configuration of the Hongqi H9 includes front seat ventilation and heating, all-round cameras, automatic cruise control, automatic emergency braking (AEB), lane keeping and blind spot monitoring systems. High-end versions include air suspension, ventilation and heating for all seats (all seats also have massage functions), adaptive cruise control, full-scenario automatic parking, BOSE sound system and head-up display.

In terms of power, there are two petrol engines to choose from. The basic version is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 252 horsepower and a maximum torque of 380 Nm. It is mated to a 7-speed wet dual clutch transmission. The 3.0T supercharged V6 engine with 337 horsepower and maximum output torque is 445 Nm (283 horsepower, 400 Nm), which is slightly higher than the old model, and it is also available in rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions. There is no all-wheel drive version of the 2023 model.
