Multidisciplinary artist, Anna Pahlavi grew up in Ukraine before moving to Paris to study at Parsons School of Design. It is here that she met her husband, Cyrus Pahlavi, grand nephew of the Shah of Iran. Anna doesn't see her journey as a career but rather as the adventure of her life, started at a young age. For the series Une fille, Un Style, she opens the doors of her house in the 16th arrondissement of Paris and furnished by the architect Jacques Grange and her mother-in-law, Princess Niloufar Pahlavi. A nice mix of influences, treasures brought back from travels and works made by the family, such as these pomegranates, symbol of fertility and immortality in Iran. A fashion enthusiast, the princess collects exceptional pieces. At the top of her list ? An Indian pink Dior dress, made of silk brocade and feathers created by Marc Bohan for the Tehran collection in 1962. An encounter at the crossroads of fashion, art and architecture.
