Deaf West's Oedipus at the Getty Villa is a unique and innovative retelling of the classic Greek tragedy. Artistic Director DJ Kurs and Director Jenny Koons talk about the multimodal and complex world that the Deaf and hearing actors in the production inhabit. By blending American Sign Language with spoken English, we have created a powerful and moving experience that is sure to stay with you long after you leave the Getty's outdoor amphitheater.
