Movies night revisiting Troy 19 years later, but now with my teen daughter who is delving in the mysteries of ancient Greece and the Balkans.

This scene with Briseis (Rose Byrne) and Achilles (Brad Pitt) is my favorite and I call it the Power of Now:
*Achilles "I will tell you a secret. Something they don't teach you at the temple... The gods envy us. They envy us because we are mortal. Because any moment might be our last. Everything is more beautiful because we are doomed. You will never be lovelier than you are now. We will never be here again..."
*Briseis: "I thought you were a dumb brute... I could have forgiven a dumb brute... "
