In part 3 of our series on Quranic abrogation, Dr. Shabir Ally explains that the theory of abrogation gives the impression that God doesn't know what He wants; He gives one instruction and in a short time He changes His mind. It also creates uncertainty in the mind of the reader of the Quran, because a verse that is included in the Quran could be an abrogated verse. And the theory also leads to doubts about whether the Quran is intact, if some words of God are said to have been removed or not included in the text we have today.
