Imogene Pass ran from west to east, from Telluride to the summit of Imogene Pass and then down Camp Bird Road to Ouray. This Camp Bird road is the same road that takes you to Yankee Boy Basin. This is a Jeep Badge of Honor trail. We started the day by running Black Bear Pass to Telluride and then ran Imogene Pass back to Ouray . This makes for a great day. If you are uncomfortable running Black Bear Pass, then you can run Ophir Pass to Telluride and that is a great trail too. It has been 7 years since I ran Imogene Pass and it was as good as I remembered.
