Giant balloons of famous icons and characters were blown up in the middle of New York City, Wednesday, November 24, prior to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The parade is being held in person on Thanksgiving after the pandemic forced a scaled-back version of the event in 2020.
Joining the line-up of floats this year are Ada Twist, Scientist; the Pokémon characters Pikachu and Evee on a sled; and baby Yoda, or Grogu, from “The Mandalorian.” (AP)
