It's almost Christmas and that means it's cabin time! Rylie, Ellie and I head down to our off grid, tiny A Frame cabin to spend a night in the woods. We're coming off of a massive blizzard here in Minnesota that dumped tons of snow and left the woods looking beautiful. On this trip, I make some adjustments to our wood stove before Rylie arrives. Then we make hot cocoa, I create a home made wreath for the cabin and we soak in the ambience and warmth of the fireplace. There's just something so wonderful about taking time to be still during the winter. Everything is moving at a slower pace. Winter camping is the best way to appreciate this harsh, yet beautiful season.
