Muladhara (Root) Chakra is one of the seven chakras and it the first chakra, muladhara, or “root chakra,” acts as the root of the body. It is located at the base of the spine and is associated with the earth element. “Muladhara” means root. The word Muladhara is composed of two Sanskrit words: mula meaning “root” and adhara which means “base” or “support”.
