All-new Mercedes SL is back to a 2+2 layout for the first time since 1989 and the R129 model. 2 rear seats increase usability, even if it’d be torture for an adult on a cross-country trip, and there’s a wind deflector to protect front-seat passengers from the wind for when they’re nobody is sitting in the back.

Likely There will be 2 options at launch, both with mild-hybrid powertrains. One will have around 430bhp. The other should be badged as SL63 and have over 600 hp.

MERCEDES-AMG SL ROADSTER 2022 will have over 800 hp, twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 with a plug-in hybrid powertrain.

An alternative to rear-wheel drive will be the optional AWD.
