Most of the time though, it's an adversary proceeding to challenge the discharge of a debt, and most of the time that is under a theory of fraud. The standards in establishing that vary from concept to concept. In that sense, adversary proceedings are not all cookie cutter the same, but on the other hand they are all the same in that there's a certain structure to any adversary proceeding just as there's a certain to a lawsuit in say the federal District court or in the California Superior Court.
