Patrick Phillips, acting executive director of the Phil and Penny Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact and professor of biology, gave a community science talk on May 9, 2017. His presentation, “Science at the Nexus of Life and Death,” provided an example of the types of impacts that the Knight Campus will have on the future of research.
