It's time to build again! RCOE Special Education and Esports hosted the 2nd Annual Lego Fun Fair for Special Education students from Riverside County. The Lego Fun Fair is a way for students with disabilities to use their skills, with the help of general education student mentors, to put together complex Lego builds. All students were able to improve their problem solving skills and strategy development when building the Lego sets. Most importantly, the Legos were not the only things being built. Bridges were built between general education and special education students as a space was created for students with special needs grow a sense of belonging and boost their confidence in achieving the same things as their student peers.

Adding to the social benefits of the Lego Fun Fair, Santa Claus Inc. and many other sponsors gave away nice swag and full Lego sets for students to take home and enjoy! Thank you to RCOE SELPA, RCOE Esports, Santa Claus Inc. and all sponsors in making another fantastic event!
