Twitter emerged about the same time as Facebook and investors at first seen saw it as another sensation. However, years of infighting led to a rather bumpy start for Twitter. This video goes through Twitter’s start where Jack Dorsey was CEO. He was then replaced by Ev Williams who was then replaced by Dick Costolo. Costolo, who was very successful in the tech community, didn’t have a firm grasp on Twitter and often outsourced many product decisions. This led to a lack of focus on its core product. Eventually, it became obvious Twitter was struggling, and it could go the way of AOL or Yahoo if it wasn’t careful. Therefore, the Board of Directors brought Jack Dorsey back! Despite already being the CEO of Square, Dorsey was able to initiate turnaround that eventually led to the company’s growth This video goes through how Jack Dorsey Saved Twitter.
