Episode 292 welcomes back Ayaka.
1 TAKE performance of “Mikazuki” (lit. Crescent), Ayaka’s signature song that was first released in 2006 and with it Ayaka won the Best New Artist at the 48th Japan Record Awards. The song was written when Ayaka herself left Osaka, her hometown, for Tokyo, and so it is a song dedicated to all her loved ones back in home with the message of “We look up at the same moon with our hearts connected even though we are far apart.”
Having performed in numerous versions, this time “Mikazuki” is sung by Ayaka in a simple arrangement along with pianist Satoshi Shiotani, only for THE FIRST TAKE.
