In this video I brew a crushable Pumpkin Ale that I am calling Haunted House Pumpkin Ale. This is NOT overly spiced or too sweet. This is basically an amber ale with the pumpkin and spices that will keep you coming back for more! Check out the full recipe below!

Haunted House Pumpkin Ale Recipe (5.5 gallon Batch):
Grain Bill:
2-Row Malt 10.0 lbs (49.2%)
Carafoam Malt 0.5 lbs. (3.1%)
CaraMunich Malt 1.5 lbs. (9.2%)
Special B Malt 1.0 lbs. (6.2%)
Vienna Malt 1.0 lbs. (6.2%)
CaraAmber Malt 1.0 lbs. (6.2%)
Pumpkin (Canned) 3.0 lbs. (18.5%)
Dark Brown Sugar (add at flameout) 1/2 Cup

Mash Temp: 153F (I would do 156 or 158 to add a bit more sweetness)

Magnum 0.6 oz. 60 mins
Spices (Add at flameout)
Ginger (ground/powdered) 1.5 tsp
All Spice (ground) 0.75 tsp
Clove (ground) 0.5 tsp
Cardamom (ground) 0.25 tsp

Omega - Scottish Ale OYL-015
Fermentation Temp = 67F

OG - 1.054
FG - 1.013 (I got 1.009)
ABV - 5.9%
IBU - 30.3
SRM - 19.7
