In the 2008 season, the FIA was accused of penalising Lewis Hamilton in a manner to allow Ferrari and its drivers, Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen, to keep in contention for the title, or to stop Hamilton winning outright.

One of those races was the 2008 Belgian Grand Prix, where Lewis was given a 25s post race penalty for 'cutting the chicane and gaining an advantage'.

But was it as clear cut as 'FIA hate Lewis' and 'They had someone on the inside'? Let's have a look.
