After 40 long years, Michael Myers and Laurie Strode are ready to face off again in a brand new Halloween film for 2018. With a new Halloween film set to release this October for the first time since 2009, I decided to do an in-depth look at at the trailer.

In this video, I'll be breaking down the Halloween timeline to show you how this movie creates a new universe of continuity, I'll be going frame by frame to uncover the secrets hidden in Michael's police file, pointing out Easter Eggs and references to the other Halloween films like Halloween 3, H20 and even the Rob Zombie films.

This October, Michael Myers returns. Watch the #HalloweenMovie trailer now. Universal Pictures will release Trancas International Films, Blumhouse Productions and Miramax’s Halloween on Friday, October 19, 2018.

Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.

Master of horror John Carpenter executive produces and serves as creative consultant on this film, joining forces with cinema’s current leading producer of horror, Jason Blum (Get Out, Split, The Purge, Paranormal Activity). Inspired by Carpenter’s classic, filmmakers David Gordon Green and Danny McBride crafted a story that carves a new path from the events in the landmark 1978 film, and Green also directs.
