Save karlo kaam main aayega
Crispy Paneer
250 gm Panner
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp corn starch
Oil for frying
For the sauce
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp chopped onions
1 tbsp chopped garlic
2 tbsp each chopped red & yellow peppers
2 tbsp chopped capsicum
6-7 tbsp light soy sauce
If using regular soy sauce then 3-4 tbsp should work
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp crushed black pepper
1/2 tsp chilli flakes
1 tbsp corn starch slurry
To finish
2 tbsp chopped spring onions
Dash of lemon juice
Method
1. Cut the Panner into cubes, seasonw ith salt and pepper and then coat with the corn flour.
2. Deep fry the Panner in oil till golden and crisp and remove.
3. For the sauce heat oil in a kadai or wok and fry the onions, garlic and chillies fro 30 seconds.
4. Next add the peppers and fry for another 30seconds.
5. Now add the lite soup sauce and stock or water and bring to a boil.
6. Check the seasoning and add some chilli flakes, thicken the sauce with the cornstarch slurry and then add the paneer.
7. Toss well and finish with some spring onions and serve
