California got record amounts of water this year. The rivers have been pouring into lakes, overfilling them so much, the water is sent off to other areas. We took a trip up the Kern River to look at some of these amazing water ways. We also took the drone up a few times. If you've never visited Kernville or the Kern River, it's worth a trip if you're in California. The Kern River is part of Sequoia. Lots of people camp and hike along the water's edge. It's a hidden gem of California.
