Umtkó Vur ("Wolf God"). In our language there isn't gender identification for persons (be those human, deities, ancestors or others), so Umtkó actually means "Divine" or "Deity".

There are, however, four Divine identifications:
"Umtkó" is used for creator divines;
"Vumtká" is used for destruction divines;
"Tun-sko" is used for other divines;
"Völu" is used for tricksters.

According to the mythology, the wolf was the first animal to appear after the creation of the world. The wolf divine-spirit pierced the heavens from beyond the void, and from its jaws the mountains were created, and its fur are the pines and firs.

Father Bear (Morkadá) came after and made holes in the wolf's skull, thus creating caves. These caves brought shelter to faerie-folk when Father Bear slept for a thousand years within the earth. When Morkadá was awakened, he brought forth his offspring: humans ( Ïrduadúr ). Humans took the caves from the faerie-folk.
