The 2021 Nissan Altima, Nissan’s annual top-seller in the sedan lineup, was awarded the Top Safety Pick+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), which is the highest award that the organization bestows. The 2021 Nissan Altima, the refreshed mid-size sedan, won the award because of improvements to its headlight offerings, namely offering High Beam Assist as standard on all models.
