Have you recently purchased a new Dodge vehicle but are not sure how to use UConnect for your vehicle? Are you hoping to pair your mobile device so that you can make calls, play music, and send text messages while you are driving?

Today Bustard Chrysler Waterloo Sales Representative Simon Rosien shows us how to use the UConnect feature in a Dodge Ram 1500 equipped with the UConnect 8.4 system. This process can be applied to any Dodge vehicle.

Start by having your phone in front of you, and the vehicle running. You cannot set up UConnect 8.4 while the vehicle is in motion for safety purposes. On the UConnect screen, click the "Phone" button. The system will ask you if you want to pair your phone, and you can click "yes." If that screen does not pop up, tap the settings icon. Go to pair Phones and tap "Add a Device." The Uconnect system will then send a signal to your phone. Tap the settings icon on your smartphone and go to your Bluetooth screen, Under "Other Devices" you should see Uconnect followed by a VIN number. Tap this and select "Pair." On the UConnect
