When a hurricane hit Miami Florida a poor McLaren P1 was in a garage that got major flooding. The car was washed out into the street and it was all over the internet. The flooded McLaren P1 has to be the most seen McLaren as it’s a multi million dollar hypercar and it was washed away in flood water and ended up coming to rest on a toilet. The YouTuber Tavarish is knows for fixing up wrecked, crashed, and totaled supercars and everyone was waiting for him to take on this project so the McLaren P1 didn’t have to go to scrap. Sure enough He got the car from a salvage auction and the Tavarish McLaren P1 project was underway. This is the exact McLaren P1 Tavarish got and the current state of the car sitting at Sema 2023. The P1 is originally a hybrid but he ended up putting a McLaren 720s engine in as they are very similar twin turbo V8 engines and there won’t be a hybrid system. It’s really cool seeing the car in the current state and seeing all inside before it gets all sealed up behind body panels.
