Breezair has been succesfully installed in a cow farm in Northern Italy. Azienda Agricola Festa, hosting 1200 cows to be milked for producing Grana Padano cheese, has a heat issue in Summer time, as the heat stress was negatively affecting the animals and consequently, the production.

The Management approached EcoFarm Storti, Italian dealer of Breezair products through Italkero (official distributor for Italy) to solve the issue and installation of direct evaporative cooling Breezair was suggested.

Breezair can maintain ideal temperatures for the cows, consuming less water compared to the spaying systems that are normally used in farming.

Heat stress is a significant issue for cows: they get sick more frequently, eat less and produce less milk. Moreover, the milk they produce is less fat and less ideal to produce cheese, as they need to drink more. Plus, they used to get nervous when waiting before milking, as this "room" is usually very crowded and therefore hotter.

After having installed Breezair evaporative cooling, cows are more quiet, they eat more food and produce more milk (of higher quality).
