Sometimes you start off head over heels, but you end up calling it quits in the end. That’s the case for Darius Rucker and his wife of 20 years, Beth Leonard.

The former frontman of Hootie and The Blowfish tied the knot with Leonard on December 9th, 2000, but recently revealed on Instagram that they would be ending their marriage.

Rucker said that it took a lot of reflection between his wife and him, and that they came to the decision to consciously uncouple. Rucker added he and Leonard would remain close friends and will continue being parenting partners and support systems. Splitsville is not all bad, huh?
