On December 22nd, 2022, a Cessna 150A aircraft, N7032X, sustained substantial damage subsequent to the noseover during a forced landing to beach terrain following an inflight loss of engine power offshore of Santa Monica, California. The two occupants onboard the airplane were injured. The passenger, who was a former mayor of Santa Monica, later died of injuries sustained in the accident.
