Here on the North Fork of the South Platte River at approximately 8,500 feet, the water being tested is above human impact. While weather, and sediment load can vary on this section of river and impact the quality, it is often clean enough to drink. Water samples will be tested for Ph level, temperature, turbidity or clearness, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, and metals.
