According to the Wealth Hurun India Rich List, the total wealth of all the people in the capital is close to100 billion dollars, but who’s counting, right?

And as per that list, 42% of this sum is owned by the top ten wealthy individuals in New Delhi!

Among these people is Shiv Nadar, the founder of HCL Enterprise, which is India’s third largest IT services organization.

His total wealth stands at a whopping 20 billion dollars, and it all started in his garage where he used to make calculators and microprocessors way back in the 70s. Today, he’s New Delhi’s richest guy and an extreme philanthropist at heart.

Next in line is Rajiv Singh, who was appointed as the new chairman of DLF Ltd. Singh is among the largest real estate developers in the city and has all his assets at a value of 4.1 billion dollars.

When talking about the rich from India, you cannot forget Vikram Lal who heads Eicher Motors, a company founded by his father that makes the iconic Royal Enfield bikes in India. At almost 3 billion dollars, he stands at number 3, and there’s nothing stopping him.
