We dive into why so many of us find ourselves stuck in prolonged adolescence, lacking direction and purpose. Pulling insights from the book of Jeremiah, I emphasize the importance of not being afraid to step out and find our path early on. We've all been there — unsure about what to do after high school or college, feeling overwhelmed by the endless possibilities, and fearing to make a move. I share stories and talk about the 'Bridge 1822,' the early twenties, and what it means to face life head-on. It's about asking ourselves what we love doing, what skills we possess, and how we can audit our lives to get a glimpse of our futures. I tackle the daunting feeling of not knowing which direction to take and how it can keep us in a comfort zone that ultimately holds us back. Drawing on a simple yet powerful story about seeking direction, I highlight how easy it is to feel lost when we don't have a destination in mind. But, through inspiring dialogues and references to the Bible, including the stories of David facing Goliath, I encourage you to find your cause, dream big (because dreams don't have a budget!), and start working towards solving a problem for humanity. It's about not relying too much on others, whether it's parents or partners, and striving for independence. Through understanding our season's purpose and building up our lives towards the ultimate goal, I urge you to rise, challenge yourself, and embrace the freedom that comes with self-discovery.
