In this video we learn how to use the XTOOL D8 and KC100 to program a 2011 Mini Countryman to accept two $25 key FOBs from eBay. We’ll then see how the key blades were cut at home as well on a small CNC mill. We’ll finish up comparing the cost of buying a FOB from the dealer to the hardware required to do it yourself.

UPDATE: I contacted XTOOL via email soon after posting this video asking about problems, I was having with the VANOS relearn functionality on this Mini. They responded promptly and asked that I send them the log files from my usage of the D8 yesterday so they could improve this feature.
