Elon Musk's Insane Tesla E-Motorcycle Unveiled!

If you’ve been following Tesla’s meteoric rise in the EV industry then it won’t be news to you that they love changing the status quo. Tesla is renowned for its fleet of cars but what if we told you they might be adding a motorbike to their portfolio. There’s not much on the internet about the Tesla motorbike so we’ve made a video to let you guys in on all the juice details.

Design experts have already created mock-ups of what the E-motor cycle will look like. The prototype could be a cross between a sports two-ring bike and a regular bike infused with Tesla’s state-of-the-art technology. If the look of Tesla’s cars is anything to go by, then bike lovers should expect stunning designs and exciting features. James Gawley is a designer and his concept mock-ups for the Tesla Model-M feel like it was pulled out of a sci-fi movie. An interesting feature of his design is the touch screen panel that looks like those available in Tesla cars. It would have light and dark modes to ensure full visibility and it would serve as a focal point for easy access control of the vehicle. Tesla is at its core a technology company so the model-M is expected to come with new features and gadgets not available in other bikes. Riders should expect the Model-M to come without rear view mirrors which will be replaced with cameras and sensors for that futuristic look. These cameras and sensors will enable the Model-M to change lanes and reverse without having to turn around. This technology is already available and used in the cyber truck so it won’t be too controversial. Another feature expected in the Tesla will be the vehicle connectivity options much like those present in the infotainment systems of regular cars. The Model-M is also expected to feature cutting-edge software to make it feel like a computer on wheels. The self-driving technology that makes Tesla cars fan favorites should also make an appearance in the Mode-M giving it an added advantage over other E-bikes. Most electric motorcycles on the market use conventional safety features like high-tech sensors but the Tesla autopilot system is a whole different ball game. The autopilot on the Model-M could mean this futuristic bike could prevent all sorts of accidents on the road. Other features to expect are the low-profile footpegs and a smart air suspension system. The low-profile footpegs make sense since Tesla would want to make a motorcycle that is as aerodynamic as possible. The foot pegs would be ejected as soon as the bike is turned on and slide back seamlessly when not in use to preserve its unique shape. A smart air suspension system would go a long way to help Tesla reduce the height of the bike by reducing its frontal area. Unlike gas-powered vehicles, electric vehicles take advantage of instantaneous torque which gives them instant power for fast acceleration. That being said, there is still a lot of difference between developing a vehicle with four wheels, and one that has to balance on two. Given the resources available at Tesla, it’s a matter of when and not if the E-motor cycle will be produced. The end goal for Tesla would be to create a premium motorbike experience using renewable energy for the future.
