Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) is a supplement that reduces inflammation and is recommended for chronic pain, allergies, cognitive health, immune system, joint health, and more. There are reported zero to few side effects, making it well tolerated by dogs and humans. But I learned about a rare side effect AFTER my dog got VERY sick.
