My location is Québec, Canada.
My swimming pool temperature never dropped under 80 since I installed the dome.
That is great cause even with warmer temperatures last year, the pool never got this warm.
So, the dome does an amazing job heating the water, and it does even better at keeping it warm over night.
I seen 90 degrees yesterday. You can see the water temperature during the filming of this video was 88.
What's great, is that the water temperature will rise even on not so warm days.
You can see in this video how the 1/2" pipes are doing. They deformed a bit but are still holding the plastic cover.
The custom hinges are very weak but they work!
There is some place for improvements, but the results on warming the temperature are AMAZING.
I won't ever own an above ground swimming pool again without this type of dome over it.
Did I mentionned that removing and reinstalling the dome over the swimming pool is a lot easier than a regular solar blanket? :)
