Come join us for Day 5 at Walt Disney World.

Today we checked out of Pop Century and headed to EPCOT so Maddie could ride Guardians of the Galaxy for the first time. We absolutely loved it and managed to get September as our song. Maddie sung it nearly the whole way through the ride haha. This ride is such a perfect level of thrill. After this we wanted to do some resort hopping so walked to Yacht and Beach club and had a little nosey around. Such lovely resorts. Do leave a comment if you’ve stayed there before and let us know what they’re like.

From Beach club we hopped on a bus to Disney Springs. As soon as we arrived at Springs we darted straight for Chicken Guy. We both love fried chicken and couldn’t wait to try some here. It was so delicious - the fries were gorgeous too. After filling up we perused round the shops which was fun - we loved the Art Shop. Next we headed back to Pop Century, grabbed our bags and then got an Uber to Portofino Bay at Universal.

We checked in and headed out to City Walk via the ferry - which was very picturesque. Once arrived at City Walk we grabbed a brownie ice cream - yum! Then we ventured into Islands of Adventure and straight to Hogsmede. We hopped onto The Flight of the Hippogriff followed by The Forbidden Journey both were really fun. After exploring Hogsmede we got on The Hogwarts Express all the way to Kings Cross Station where we had a quick look around Diagon Alley. After exploring Universal Studios a bit we really fancied a quick and easy dinner so with nothing booked we grabbed a Panda Express. By this point we were shattered so we walked back to Portofino Bay so we could get an early night before Hagrid’s in the morning!
