When Jesus sent his followers out into the world, he sent them to disciple the nations, not colonize them; to serve them and not to try influence hem from a position of superiority. However, the history of Christianity is stained with a form of spiritual colonization, which results in a “softcore” racism, which is not expressed through vulgarity and brutality, but the inability to put ourselves in someone else’s shoes.
