How They Filmed The Powers And Supernatural Scenes In Stranger Things Season 3! Subscribe: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Things

Stranger Things has some of THE best visual effects we’ve seen in a series. They definitely play a major role, so how does it all look without the added FX and CGI? What was Millie Bobby Brown actually facing when she was battling monsters? How about Dacre Montgomery when he heroically battled the Mind Flayer in the Starcourt Mall? We’re taking a look at how this wild creature was brought to life. Of course, there were visual effects used but behind the scenes, the giant and slimy creatures looked more like giant beach balls, blue screens and even a stunt man in all red running around and flailing his arms in the air. If it sounds weird, it is - you have to see it to believe it!
Ever wonder how the team behind the show managed to coordinate what seemed to be hundreds of rats scurrying about? There were some trained rats that were going to do the job, but they weren’t quite up for the task and wound up being replaced by CGI counterparts. As for the exploding and turning into a giant slimy monster - that was all complex and highly detailed CGI!
Then of course, there is the brilliant scene on the beach with lots of stormy weather, but what were the elements actually like? The whole sequence was so complex, it actually takes place in two separate locations! We’re taking a look at all that and more today!
