Here's a simple playing pattern with multiple variations that you can apply to a bunch of other songs. Three songs are shown as examples, with playing styles ranging from simple/beginner to more intermediate.
Confession: My pro playing style is nothing but a collection of playing patterns that I switch between. This video explains one of those patterns, with 8 variations you can do with your right hand, and 4 variations you can do with your left hand. For beginning piano players this style of playing sounds more advanced than plodding through basic chords and it's also easier! (That's a win-win.)
