FAQ's on our Chargers
What cars are BG SyncEV charging stations compatible with?
All our Electric Vehicle chargers are compatible with all electric hybrid plug-in vehicles including;

Audi, BMW, Chevrolet, Citroen, Ford, Hyundai, Jaguar, Kia, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot, Land Rover, Mercedes, Mini, Renault, Smart, VW, Volkswagen, Volvo, NIO & Koenigsegg to mention a few.

Can BG SyncEV charging stations be installed at a workplace?
Our chargers are suitable for both commercial workplace installations as well as at-home or residential installations.

How safe are these Chargers, do you need to install an earth rod?
BG Sync EV chargers are built to the highest standards and all proudly bear the UKCA & CE conformity marking, making them suitable for Europe and Great Britain.

There's no need to install an additional earth rod with any of our products. They have a built-in RCD & PEN protection. Providing peace of mind against electrical shocks and short circuits.

Can you connect them directly using an RJ45/Ethernet cable?
Yes, if customers or installers are concerned about Wi-Fi dead zones or bad connectivity. The chargers can be connected directly using RJ45 / Ethernet cables

Is Sync EV and BG Sync EV the same Brand?
Yes, Sync EV joined forces with the BG 'British General Electrical' part of the Luceco Group back in August 2021. BG Sync EV is one of the fastest-growing manufacturers and suppliers of electric vehicle charge points within the United Kingdom UK'.

Are they tough?
Very tough they have an IK10 impact protection rating. They are perfect for scenarios where customers are concerned about vandals and heavy-handed use.
