'Des' Styles and Anne Cox welcomed Harry Edward Styles into the world on February 1st, 1994 in Redditch, Worcestershire. Gemma is the name of his older sister. He was 7 years old when his parents split up. Styles, raised in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, was fascinated by music from a young age. He sang and performed as the lead singer for his school band, 'White Eskimo', winning competitions. Influenced by Freddie Mercury, Elvis Presley, and The Beatles, Styles worked part-time at W. Mandeville Bakery in Holmes Chapel.
