Reason for Drying
Goal is to produce a dry flower that has improved taste and flavors when ignited.



Drying Process in General
The drying process should not be a race.

Drying Area
This area should be very clean and tightly climate controlled.

Be Sure to Avoid
Hight heat and intense light can degrade the cannabinoids
Speed drying will cause larger buds to not dry consistently which will lead to a inferior end product.



Rack or Screen Drying System for Cannabis
Advantages
Minimizes space, so great for large volume harvests
Disadvantages
Can create flat spots on buds



Plant Hanging Drying System for Cannabis
Advantages
Minimal prep of plant material ahead of drying
Disadvantages
Takes up more space

Can have increased odds of contaminants developing
