This is a practical demonstration of how to inspect a Chrysler 9 1/4” Trac Lok limited slip differential in a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500. An axle tube seal is replaced, we adjust ring gear backlash, and we show how the gear contact pattern changes as backlash is reduced. Part 2 is here
