In your interactions with people you should never be afraid to ask for what you want. In most cases the very worst thing that could happen is that they say, "No." This also applies to your walk with God. Many people have not, because they ask not, as James 4:3 plainly states. Do not stop from asking the Lord for the good things of life either, as He is good and wants to bless you and enrich your life.

Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. (John 16:24)
