We hit the road in the 2024 Genesis GV80 3.5T Prestige AWD to see if there's any change from when we drove it last, and if you should hold off for the refresh coming later this year.

We're checking out the 2024 Genesis GV80 3.5T Prestige AWD, in two-row configuration to see if the small changes made over the years are good enough to jump into today, or if you should hold off for the 2025 models coming later this year. The 2025 Genesis GV80 introduces a new Coupé model powered by a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 engine with an electric supercharger. The 2025 Genesis GV80 also gets a facelift with new front and rear bumpers, revised grille, updated headlights, and a refreshed interior. A new 27" curved OLED display sits front and centre with an updated steering wheel and HVAC controls.

We go over why you might want to get into the 2024 we're driving rather than waiting, as we feel the Genesis GV80 really is the perfect mid-size luxury SUV. Some of the changes sound nice on paper, but with a vehicle that's already set a high benchmark, making dramatic changes to key elements that buyers have come to love may negatively impact the experience. Nile and Victor hit the road in this 2024 Genesis GV80 3.5T Prestige AWD to see what it's about and help you decide if it should be the next luxury SUV for you.
